Softball, Field Hockey, Volleyball
Inducted May 10, 1984

Nora Sousley Greenwade played softball, field hockey and volleyball for the Bears in the early 1970’s, coming to Springfield from Gravois Mills. Sousley and teammate Carol Meyer were leading hitters for the first softball team coached by Kay Hunter at MSU, a team which was 13-5. Sousley was a starter on volleyball teams which finished sixth in the nation twice and was a member of the first MSU field hockey team. Sousley was one of the leading scorers for the MSU field hockey team, and she scored the only Bear goal at the finals of the 1972 state championship. She was a senior leader for the first Linda Dollar-coached MSU volleyball team, a squad which finished 40-9-7 overall and grabbed seventh in the National Division I Tournament.
