JIM TOLER
Football, 1955-56
Inducted September 27, 1980

Jim Toler was a two-year letterman in Missouri State football in the mid-1950’s, playing a season each for Coaches Harold Stratton and Aldo Sebben. He came to MSU as a junior college transfer and operated for the Bruins as both fullback and linebacker. He was named to the all-MIAA second team in 1956 at fullback and was the sixth leading scorer in the conference that year as the Bruins claimed third place in the league standings. A native of Garland, Texas, Toler received an additional honor in 1956 when he was selected for the MIAA Sportsmanship Award.
