SUE SCHUBLE
Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, 1966-70

To say that Sue Schuble was an all-around athlete and student at Missouri State from 1966-1970 is an understatement. Schuble was a four-year starter on the volleyball team as a setter and played on the team which placed eighth in the first ever AIAW Nationals in 1970. She was also a four-year starter on the basketball and softball teams. The softball squad placed third in the AIAW Nationals in 1969 and was second her senior season. Schuble also participated a season on the golf and track teams. She had a double major of physical eduation and biology and graduated cum laude with a 3.71 grade point average and received the Andrew J. McDonald Award for the outstanding academic and athletic performance in 1970. Upon graduation, she received her master's degree from the Maryland in 1972 and returned to Springfield. Schuble later became a highly-successful basketball and volleyball coach at Springfield Kickapoo High School.
