Tina Robbins was a four-year basketball standout and three-year starter for the Lady Bears of coach Cheryl Burnett from 1990 to 1994. A native of Duenweg, Missouri, and a product of Joplin High, Robbins was a member of the first four MSU NCAA tournament teams. Robbins netted NCAA Midwest Regional MVP honors as a sophomore in 1992 as she led MSU to regional tourney wins over UCLA and Ole Miss to take MSU to Los Angeles and its first Final Four appearance.
