Softball-Basketball, 1983-87
Inducted May 6, 1996

Marcia Bisges played softball and basketball for Missouri State Univeristy from 1983 to 1987 as the school moved into its Gateway Collegiate Athletic Conference competition. She was a member of the MSU All-Decade team in 1992 and also was selected to the Gateway All-Decade team. She was selected to the all-league team once each as a third baseman and shortstop and helped MSU to the NCAA Regional tourney in 1983 with a win in the league tourney at Western Illinois. Playing for coaches Jim Webb, Mary Phyl Dwight and Mary Carter, Bisges was among the school’s all-time leaders in triples and assists. She was also a four-year basketballer for coach Valerie Goodwin-Colbert and sparked the Lady Bears to a Gateway runner-up finish as a senior in 1987.
