Lily Johnson
Volleyball, 2014-17
One of just 10 players in Division I history to collect 2,200 kills and 1,500 digs in her career, Johnson was a four-time All-American and four-time All-MVC attacker for coach Melissa Stokes. She became the first player to lead the MVC in kills four times. She earned MVC Freshman of the Year honors in 2014 and Valley Player of the Year honors in 2015, 16 and 17. As a senior, she ranked second nationally in kills (574) and third in total points (646.5). In 2017, the three-time team captain was named the CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year for volleyball. She earned MVC Player of the Week honors a league-record 15 times and set Valley career records for kills (2,293) and attacks (6,610), while finishing second in NCAA history in attacks and 19th in kills. Johnson was a Top 10 finalist among Division I nominees for NCAA Woman of the Year in 2017 and was a two-time USA Collegiate National Team selection (2016-17).
