Cecile Reynaud is a 1975 Missouri State graduate who went on to become a highly-successful volleyball coach at Florida State. She was a four-year letter-winner on Missouri State volleyball teams which were consistently ranked in the top ten. Reynaud also lettered twice in field hockey and was twice named to the Outstanding College Athletes of America. After graduation, Reynaud taught physical education and coached four sports at Steelville High School. A year later, she was named head volleyball coach at Florida State, where she compiled a 635-325-1 (.660) record from 1976-2001. She completed her master’s degree at Florida State in 1978 and her doctorate in 1998. As a player at Missouri State for Coach Linda Dollar, Reynaud and her 1975 teammates were 64-5 for the season and the MSU four-year record with Reynaud in the lineup was 191-37-15 with four state titles and three regional crowns.
