Maureen Manda played for a state title team and a conference championship team for Missouri State volleyball coach Linda Dollar from 1981 to 1984 as MSU reached the AIAW national tourney in 1981, the NCAA tourney in 1982 and finished as the Gateway Conference runner-up in Manda's final two years. She was among the Bears' all-time leaders in games, matches, hitting percentage, kills, blocks and service aces. She was on the all-conference team her last two years and was the league's Most Valuable Player as a junior. She was also the school's outstanding senior scholar-athlete in 1984-85.
