Inducted October 28, 1978

Wilburn (Webb) Morris was a Missouri State football letterman in 1934 and a basketball letterman in 1933 and 1934. A native of Carterville, Missouri he came to Missouri State as a transfer from Ozark Wesleyan College in Carthage. He was an end for the Bears in football and gained all-conference honorable mention. He helped the basketball team to a conference title under Coach McDonald in 1934 and was selected to the all-league second team. He was regarded as an outstanding team leader and was an effective post man and assist man, consistently moving the ball to teammates who were in position to stick it in the bucket.
