ART GIACOMIN
Football, 1957-60
Inducted November 19, 1983

The Missouri State football Bears in the late 1950’s were anchored both offensively and defensively by the tough inside work of Art Giacomin, a rugged offensive tackle and linebacker from Gary, ID, who was a regular for the Bruins for four years and lettered for Coach Aldo Sebben’s ballclubs from 1957 through 1960. He was an MIAA all-conference second team performer when he was a junior in 1959 and came back to earn all-conference first team laurels during his senior season. He joined Kay Holaday as one of the co-captains on the 1960 MSU ballclub and capped his MSU career with selection as a First team Little All-American selection for the 1960 season.
