Bill Kaczmarek came to Missouri State from Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and lettered in football for the Bears’ four seasons from 1954 through 1957 and played for coaches Bill Dellastatious, Harold Stratton and Aldo Sebben. He was a punishing blocker on offense and a strong rusher on defense as a two-way tackle standout. Kaczmarek was selected to the all-MIAA team on two occasions. He was a Missouri State co-captain when he was a senior in 1957 and was given Little All-American honorable mention by the Williamson Poll.
