Kelley Michnowicz was a four-year regular for the volleyball Bears and was a standout from the start of her MSU career. Michnowicz competed on four straight 20-win teams which all finished in the first division in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Bears were 14-4 in the league in 2009 and finished second in the conference and went 15-3 in Valley play in 2011 for another second place finish.

A native of Belleville, Ill., Michnowicz was on the MVC all-freshman team in 2008. She earned a spot on the all-MVC first team for both the 2009 and 2010 seasons and received All-America honorable mention and American Volleyball Coaches Association all-region selection in 2010. She ranked in the top five in two MVC stat categories in 2009. Michnowicz ranked second in MSU history with a .367 attack efficiency in 2010. She lives in Durham, North Carolina, and works as a nurse practictioner at the Duke University Medical School.
