Missouri State

Sports Nutrition

At Missouri State, we are committed to keeping our student athletes healthy. We provide nutrition education to also help our athletes succeed. The Sports Nutrition program is managed by team dietitian, Natalie Allen, MEd, RD, LD. She works with all Missouri State athletes, emphasizing good nutrition, hydration and health.

Services available to student athletes include individual nutrition consultations, team meetings, grocery store tours, body composition lab measurements, help with meal planning and cooking, cafeteria tours and guidance on NCAA regulations on supplements.

Solid nutrition is one piece of the puzzle to help athletes reach peak performance. We also support healing and recovery of injured athletes. The team dietitian works closely with the strength and conditioning staff, athletic trainers, and team physicians to give MSU athletes a winning environment to learn lifelong healthy habits.
