2019-20 Season (Senior)
Tabbed to All-MAC second team…Earned bronze in 200 IM and helped squad to pair of runner-up titles in 200 and 400 free relays at MAC Championships (March 4-7)…Made another championship podium appearance in 100 back…Opened season with fourth-place in 200 medley relay at Show-Me Showdown (October 4)…Posted first win of senior campaign in 200 back at Kansas Double Dual (October 11-12)…Rounded out A-final finishers in 200 IM and swam a leg in third-place 200 medley relay finish at SMU Invite (November 21-23)…Won 100 back and contributed to 400 medley relay victory in home finale versus Evansville (January 11).
2018-19 Season (Junior)
Named to All-MAC second team…Made three appearances on the MAC Championships podium in the 200 IM (4th - 1:49.81), 100 backstroke (7th - 49.96), and 200 backstroke (6th - 1:49.29)…Placed 1st in 200 backstroke (1:53.65) and 2nd for 100 backstroke (52.21) against South Dakota…Swam a leg in 200 freestyle relay (1:23.59) win at Drury…4th in 100 backstroke (50.93) at nationally-ranked Missouri…Third best MSU season time in 200 backstroke.
2017-18 Season (Sophomore)
Earned a gold medal in the Bears’ MAC record-setting 400 medley relay at the MAC Championships … Posted the Bears’ fastest time in the 100 back … Took sixth in the 100 back at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (Sept. 29) … Touched the wall third in the 200 back against SIU (Oct. 7) … Won the 100 back against South Dakota (Oct. 20-21) and finished third in the event against Evansville (Dec. 1) … At Drury (Jan. 18), he took fourth in the 100 back and he finished seventh in the 200 back against Missouri (Jan. 20). Recorded an NCAA B-Standard time in 100 back at the MAC Championships … Set career bests (4) in the 100 free, 200 back, 100 breast and 100 fly.
2016-17 Season (Freshman)
Swam in the B-Final in both the 200 IM 100 back at the 2017 MAC Championship … Placed in the top five in the 100 back at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown, finishing the event in 51.37 seconds … Earned his first collegiate victory in the 100 back (52.07) and led off the Bears’ first-place 200 medley relay against North Dakota (10/21) … Placed third in the 200 back against the Fighting Hawks with a time of 1:54.12 … Picked up top-10 finishes in the 100 and 200 back against Iowa and Purdue on Nov. 4 … Swam the first leg of MSU’s victorious 200 and 400 medley relays at the House of Champions Invitational (11/18) … Earned a third-place finish and set a career-best time of 49.57 seconds in the 100 back while setting career bests in the 50 back (23.15), 200 back (1:50.21) and 200 IM (1:53.88) as well … Swerved as the first leg in the Bears’ first-place, 200 medley relay against Evansville (12/2) and touched the wall fourth in the 200 IM … Picked up two individual victories against Southern Illinois in both the 100 and 200 backstroke and led off MSU’s first-place 200 medley relay … Picked up victories against Drury in the 100 back and 200 medley relay on Jan. 19 … Against Missouri (1/21), finished in the top 10 in the 100 and 200 back … Earned a top-eight finish in the 100 back at the Shamrock Invitational (1/27).

Ranked third among all Arkansas swimmers in the class of 2016 according to CollegeSwimming.com … Had wealth of success at the state level … A three-time all-district and all-state selection for Central High School … Won an individual state championship in the 50-yard freestyle and earned a runner-up finish in the 100 free as a junior … Also won a state championship in the 400 free relay as a sophomore and had multiple top-five finishes at the state meet in a variety of events … Heye – younger brother of current Missouri State swimmer Christopher Heye – has also been a Junior National qualifier in the 100 backstroke for two consecutive years.
