th in the 100 back at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (Sept. 29) … Recorded a fifth-place finish in the 200 back against Southern Illinois (Oct. 7) … Saw top-10 finishes in the 100 and 200 back against Kansas and South Dakota (Oct. 20-21) … Swam herself into another five hole at Missouri State’s home meet against Drury (Oct. 27) … Against Evansville, she gathered five top-25 finishes in the 100 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, and 100 IM (Dec. 1) … Took fourth in the 100 back against Drury (Jan. 18) and eighth in the 200 breast against Missouri (Jan. 20).
Background
A three-year letterwinner at Lafayette High School, van Biljon competed for the Lancers her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons. In February of 2015, she earned Athlete of the Month honors before competing at the 2015 Junior Nationals Championships with her club team, the Rockwood Swim Club. On Mar. 21, 2015, van Biljon posted her fastest time of 26.93 seconds in the 50yd free at the 2015 NCSA Junior Nationals.

Born 9/28/98 in Dallas, Texas ... Daughter of Philip and Dion van Biljon of Wildwood, Mo. ... Has a younger sister, Claire, who is joining the Missouri State swim team. Majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology.
