2020-21 Season (Sophomore)
Appeared in the season-opener at Mizzou (Nov. 11) ... Recorded a fourfth-place finish in the 200 backstroke and finished seventh in the 100 Backstroke.

2019-20 Season (Freshman)
Completed two top-15 marks in 100 and 200 back events at MAC Championships (March 4-7)…Placed fifth in 400 IM and 100 back at Indiana State Invitational (October 19-20)…Finished among top-15 in B-final heat at SMU Invite (November 21-23)…Claimed third in 100 back in home finale versus Evansville (January 11).

Background
A member of the Central Iowa Aquatics club team, Porter set a pair of personal best swims at the Midwest Challenge last winter. This past summer, Porter landed runner-up in the 100 backstroke and 12th in the 200 backstroke at the Iowa LCM Championships. His efforts at Valley High included a third and eighth-place finish at the Iowa State Championships his junior year.
