2022-23 Season (Senior)
Appeared in all nine meets... Placed 11th in the 1650 freestyle (17:14.58) at the MVC Championships (Feb. 15-18)... Posted two top-five finishes in individual events.

2021-22 Season (Junior)
Appeared in seven meets … First Team All-MVC honoree … Placed third in the 1,650 freestyle (16:55.80) at the MVC Championships (Feb. 16-19) … Recorded a second-place finish in the 1,000 freestyle (10:34.58) against SIU (Oct. 1-2) … Posted six top-three finishes and eight top-five finishes on the season.

2020-21 Season (Sophomore)
Appeared in all six meets… Was a first-team All-MVC honoree… Finished third in the 1650 freestyle (16:45.96) and fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:57.37) at the MVC Championships (April 14-16)… Recorded a runner-up finish in the 1000 freestyle at Indiana State (March 20) … Took second in the 1650 freestyle at Mizzou on Feb. 28… Posted six top-three times throughout the season.

2019-20 Season (Freshman)
Earned All-MVC first team recognition…Touched the wall as silver medalist in 1650 free and made a podium appearance in 500 free race at MVC Championships (February 19-22)…Ranked second in Valley standings for 1650 free…Made collegiate debut with a top-10 finish in the 500 free at the Show-Me Show Showdown (October 4)…Recorded first career victory as a Bear in the 1000 free at Kansas Double Dual (October 11-12), also turned in a runner-up time in the 500 free…Finished second in the 1650 free at Indiana State Invitational (October 19-20)…Clocked in at second in 1000 free in home finale versus Evansville (January 11).

Background
Earning two All-American mentions, Hietpas was part of three straight conference championships at Fishers High. She placed in the top-five at the Indiana high school state competitions in back-to-back years. Hietpas took the top spot in the 500 free in her sophomore and junior years, and also broke the junior varsity record in 500 free her freshman year. Named sectional champion sophomore and junior seasons.
