2022-23 Season (Senior)
Swam in all 10 meets...Placed third in the 400 IM (3:55.68), sixth in the 200 butterfly (1:49.46) and 11th in the 200 IM (1:49.97) at the MAC Championships (March 1-4)...Won one individual event, the 200 IM (1:54.27) vs. UIC, Bellarmine and Evansville (Jan. 14)...Recorded 10 top-three and 14 top-five finishes in individual events.
2021-22 Season (Junior)
Appeared in all eight meets…Second-team All-MAC honoree…Placed fourth in the 400 IM finals (3:53.06) and fifth in the 200 butterfly finals (1:47.91) at the MAC Championships (March 2-5)…Also recorded an eighth-place finish in the 200 IM finals with a season-best time of 1:50.02…Won the 200 butterfly (1:56.03) and 400 IM (4:08.52) at Kansas…Posted 14 top-three finishes on the season.
2020-21 Season (Sophomore)
Appeared in all eight meets…Finished fourth in the 200 IM (1:48.90) and 10th in the 200 butterfly (1:49.04) at the MAC Championships (April 8-10)…Swam a season-best time in the 100 (52.56) and 200 backstrokes (1:53.26) against Xavier on March 19…Won the 400 IM at Mizzou with a time of 3:58.41 (Feb 28)…Won the 200 butterfly at SMU (Jan. 30)…Posted five top-three times throughout the season.
2019-20 Season (Freshman)
Recognized on All-MAC second team…Earned silver in 400 IM and made podium appearance in 200 IM at MAC Championships (March 4-7)…Recorded first career victory in 400 IM and took second in 200 fly at Kansas Double Dual (October 11-12)…Followed it up with another 400 IM win at Indiana State Invitational (October 19-20)…Posted pair of third-place finishes in 200 fly and 200 IM versus SIU (November 9)…Led MSU scorers with top-10 time in 400 IM at Shamrock Invitational (January 24-25).
Background
A three-time Missouri All-State honoree, Lewis specialized in the individual medley and broke a variety of school records at Lindbergh High. Lewis broke five of his eight records during his senior year including the 200 IM, 100 backstroke, 100 fly, 100 breaststroke, and the breaststroke leg of 200 IM relay. His efforts earned him five Missouri All-State mentions, four St. Louis Suburban Yellow Pool All-Conference accolades, to Lindbergh varsity MVPs, and Lindbergh varsity newcomer of the year. He was also named team captain in his junior and senior seasons.
