Swam in all 10 meets…Placed first in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:13.67) for the fourth consecutive year, third in the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:29.41), fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:27.50) and sixth in the 400 IM (3:56.15) at the MAC Championships (March 6-9)...Placed third in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:23.88), seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:30.97) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:01.75) at the Purdue Invitational (Nov. 16-18)...Won team-high 11 individual events…Recorded 16 top-five individual finishes…Set Hammons Student Center Pool Record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:13.95) in intrasquad meet on Nov. 4…Named All-MAC First Team…Named MAC Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 24…Named to MAC All-Academic Team.
2022-23 Season (Junior)
Swam in nine out of 10 meets...Placed first in the 1,650 freestyle (15:08.58), second in the 800 freestyle relay (6:30.62), fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:28.34) and fifth in the 400 IM (3:57.50) at the MAC Championships (March 1-4)...Won 10 individual events...Posted 12 top-three finishes in individual events...Named MAC Swimmer of the Week twice (Nov. 9, 2022, and Jan. 25, 2023)...Broke former MSU swimmer Antonio Thomas' Breech Pool (Drury) record (9:11.93, set in 2018) in the 1000 freestyle (9:10.53) at Drury (Jan. 20).
2021-22 Season (Sophomore)
Appeared in all eight meets…2022 MAC Swimmer of the Year…First-team All-MAC honoree…Defended his 1,650 freestyle title with a school-record time of 14:55.60 at the MAC Championships (March 2-5)…Also won the 500 freestyle (4:20.58) and was a member of the 800 freestyle relay win at the MAC Championships…Recorded nine individual wins and 16 top-five finishes.
2020-21 Season (Freshman)
Appeared in all eight meets while making an immediate impact for the Bears…Was a first-team All-MAC honoree…Won the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 15:06.37...Won silver medals in the 500 freestyle (4:20.84) and 400 IM (3:48.67) at the MAC Championships (April 8-10)…Swam the opening leg of the first-place 800 freestyle relay (MAC) …Won the 500 freestyle, 400 IM and 1000 freestyle at SIU (March 6)…Also recorded wins in the 1000 freestyle at Drury and SMU, the 500 freestyle at SMU and the 1650 freestyle at Mizzou…Posted 18 top-three times throughout the season.
