2020-21 Season (Freshman)
Appeared in all eight meets … Was a second-team All-MAC honoree… Placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:00.27) and 400 IM (3:55.62) at the MAC Championships (April 8-10)…Posted a second-place finish in the 200 IM (1:53.82) and finished third in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.60) at Mizzou (Nov. 11)… Placed third in the 200 breaststroke and 1650 freestyle at Notre Dame (Jan. 16)… Won the 200 Breaststroke at Xavier with a time of 2:02.22 (March 19-20).
Background
Team record holder in 200 breaststroke short course and 200 long course as a freshman. 2017 Bartlett High School MVP. Recognized by USA Swimming to attend USA Diversity Select Camp. As a sophomore, he was top ten in short course 1000 free, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and 200/400 IM. He was top ten in long course 100 and 200 breaststroke, 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 200/400 IM. His junior year, he had the top short course 200 breaststroke and 400 IM time and was the 2019 YMCA National Champion on the 400 IM long course.
