Day One Recap (Friday)
SPRINGFIELD – Both Missouri State swimming and diving women's and men's teams beat Omaha in a two-day dual in the Bears' home-opener at Hammons Student Center Pool.
Missouri State men won with a 256.5-95.5 scoreline, while the women won 272-81.
The energy was what we wanted to see, the home meet really helps but I really like where we're at, said head coach Dave Collins. Obviously, we still have plenty to work on going to the mid-season meet but I'm really pleased with the effort and excitement, it was just a really good weekend for the Bears.
On the men's side, the Bears earned all six individual and both team relay victories.
