Indoor: Competed in one meet… Vaulted a 3.09-meter pole vault at the Arkansas Invitational to finish in 22nd.
Outdoor: Competed in two meets… Made a 3.09-meter pole vault at the ORU Invitational to finish in 17th place… Marked a 3.24m jump at the MVC Outdoor Championship finishing in 13th place.
2016-17 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in two meets… Finished 12th in the pole vault with a height of 3.06 meters at the Bob Timmons Challenge (Dec. 2)… At the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10), finished seventh with a height of 3.21 meters.

Outdoor: Competed in two meets… At the Bulldog Relays (Mar. 17) finished fifth with a height of 3.25 meters… Took fourth with a height of 3.31 meters at the Tom Botts Invitational (Apr. 14).
2015-16 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears.
Outdoor: Did not compete for the Bears.
Background:Â Four-year letterwinner under the direction of Jim Middleton at Nixa High School... Primary focus was in the pole vault... Competed at sectionals for the Eagles for three-straight seasons (sophomore-senior)... Was invited to compete at the junior Olympics her junior year.
Personal:Â Nikki Leanne Buck was born May 13 to Randy Buck and Tammy Ward... Resides with Brad and Tammy Ward in Clever, Mo. when not in Springfield... Has one sister Ashlee... Plans to study animal science, pre-vet, while attending MSU... After graduation, Nikki hopes to continue her education in vet school at the University of Missouri.
