2016-17 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in six meets … Finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 15.98 meters and fourth in the shot put with 12.67 meters at the Bob Timmons
Challenge (Dec. 2) … At the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20), posted a fifth place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 15.12 meters … Finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 15.68 meters at the Jayhawk
Classic (Jan. 27) and also turned in a distance of 12.41 meters in the shot put … Paced the Bears at the Frank Sevigne
Husker Invitational (Feb. 2-3) with 16.40 meters in the weight throw and 11.95 meters in the shot put … Turned in a top-10 finish in the weight throw at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10-11) with 15.27 meters, also threw a distance of 12.02 meters in the shot put … picked up All-MVC
honors with a sixth place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 17.10 meters at the league championship (Feb. 25-26).
Outdoor: Competed in six meets … Opened the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays (March 17-18) with a tenth place finish in the shot put with a 12.13 meter showing and in the discus with 37.74 meters, as well as a ninth place mark of 38.86 meters in the hammer throw … At the Arkansas Spring Invitational (March 25), posted a 11.27 meter mark in the shot put … Turned in a ninth-place mark of 11.35 meters in the shot put at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 14-15)... Also took tenth in the discus competition with a 38.01 meter mark and 12th in the hammer throw with 40.52 meters … Posted a mark of 45.63 meters in the hammer throw at the John Jacobs Invitational (April 21-22) as well a mark of 11.89 meters in the shot put and 32.45 meters in the discus … Collected a fourth place finish in the shot put competition at the Rock Chalk Classic (April 28) with a throw of 12.49 meters and in the hammer throw with 44.41 meters, as well as fifth place in the discus with a mark of 38.60 meters … At the MVC Championship (May 12-14), turned in a 49.61 meter mark in the hammer throw, 11.93 meters in the shot put and 35.72 meters in the javelin.
2015-16 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in five meets… Opened the season finishing fifth in the weight throw (13.91 meters) and eighth in the shot put (10.68 meters) at the Bob Timmons Challenge (Dec. 4)… Took third in the weight throw (14.29 meters) and the shot put (10.63 meters) at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 15)… Was the lone thrower at the Pittsburg State Invitational (Jan. 29), tossing 14.53 meters in the weight throw… Threw a personal best 14.89 meters in the weight throw at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13) and tossed the shot put 10.68 meters… Recorded a personal best throw of 14.72 meters in the weight throw at the conference championships (Feb. 27-28) and led the team in the shot put (11.22 meters).
Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Opened the season finishing first for MSU in the shot put (10.68 meters) and threw 37.59 meters in the hammer throw at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (March 26)… Finished second in the shot put (10.83 meters), third in the discus (36.94 meters) and second in the hammer throw (42.56 meters) at the Margaret Simmons Invitational (April 1)… Traveled to the Tom Botts Invitational (April 16) tossing a personal best 11.14 meters in the shot put, finished 13th in the discus (33.49 meters) and 10th in the hammer throw (42.80 meters)… Continued the season at the Missouri State Invitational (April 22) finishing fifth in the shot put (10.60 meters), sixth in the discus (36.55 meters) and a personal best 45.76 meters in the hammer throw… Competed at the Jace LaCoste Invitational (April 30) throwing 33.03 meters in the discus and 42.51 meters in the hammer… Concluded outdoor season at the MVC Outdoor Championships (May 13-15) throwing a personal best in the discus (38.91 meters) and throwing 40.59 meters in the hammer throw.
2014-15 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in two meets ... Opened the season with a fifth place finish in the shot put (10.68m) and a sixth place finish in the weight throw (12.22m) at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 9) ... At the UAB Vulcan Invitational (Jan. 23), placed 19th in the shot put (10.08m) and 20th in the weight throw (11.49m).
Outdoor: Competed in five meets ... Opened the season at the at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (Mar. 27-28), finishing sixth in the shot put (10.13m), fifth in the discus (31.47m), and fifth in the hammer (32.15m) ... Competed in three events at the John McDonnel Invitational (Apr. 10-11): 12th in the shot put (9.54m), 12th in the discus (30.78m), and 10th in the hammer (37.35) ... Finished 15th in the shot put (9.57m), 18th in the discus (33.34m), and 13th in the hammer (45.52m) at the John Jacobs Invitational (Apr. 17-18) ... At the Arkansas Twilight (May 1), placed fourth in the shot put (9.79m), fifth in the discus (34.29m), and second in the hammer throw (39.03) ... At the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships (May 15-17): Placed 14th in the shot put (9.35m), 21st in the discus (34.76m), and 20th in the hammer (37.23m).
Background: Competed in track, softball, and basketball at Wright City High School under Fred Ross ... EMO All-Conference selection both her junior and senior seasons in track ... Conference champion in shot put her senior season ... Conference and sectional champion, all-district performer, and seventh overall in state in discus her senior season ...
