Outdoor: Competed in four meets… Ran a career best 5,000-meter race at the 18:19.78 time at the Bulldog Relay… Marked a 1,500m time of 5:04.40 at the ORU Invitational… Also completed the 10,000-meter run in 40:45.51 at the MVC Outdoor Championship.
2016-17 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Opened the season with a time of 11:25.58 in the 3,000-meter run at the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20)… Collected a silver medal in the 3,000-meter run at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan.27) with a time of 11:05.31… Crossed the finish line at 10:52.30 in the 3,000-meter run at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10).
Outdoor: Competed in two meets… Opened the outdoor season with a time of 19:33.04 in the 5,000-meter run at the Bulldog Classic (Mar. 17)… At the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 28), posted a time of 19:07.73 in the 5,000-meter run.

Background: Ran both track and cross country at Clark County R-1 High School... While lettering all three years of cross country and four years of track and field, Buschling competed in the 1500 meter run, 3200 meter run, and was a member of the 4x800 meter relay... Earned All-State and Team MVP honors for cross country all three years participated.
Personal: Renae Buschling was born in Keokuk, Iowa... Daughter of Jeff and Angela Buschling... Besides running cross country and participating in track and field, Buschling also played basketball and softball in high school... Studies Psychology at Missouri State.
