2017-18 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in seven meets… Season best mile run came at the Frank Husker Invitational, running a 5:03.11… Earned a season best 800-meter time at the Gorilla Classic with a 2:14.50 time.

Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Season best 800-meter came at the MVC Championship with a 2:14.20 time… Best 1,500-meter time came at the John McDonnell Invitational with a 4:39.70 time.

2016-17 Track and Field:
Indoor: Did not compete.
 
Outdoor: Competed in three meets … Opened the Bulldog Relays (3/17-3/18) with a tenth-place finish in the 1500-meter run in 4:48.36, competed in the 4x400 meter relay posting a time of 4:11.03 and second in the 4X800 meter relay 9:20.03 … Finished fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.82 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (3/25) … Competed at the 90^th Clyde Little field Texas Relays (3/30-3/31) in the eighth-place distance medley relay with a time of 11:50.87 and the seventh-place 4x800 meter relay team that set a program record time of 9:07.94.

Background: Joins the Bears after competing for a semester at Kansas State... Was a four-year letterwinner at Central High as a member of both her track and cross country team... During cross country season, she was a state qualifier her sophomore year and was named all-conference her final season season... Two-time fourth-place finisher in the 800-meter run at state before finishing as the second runner up her senior year... Was the district and conference champ, as well as the school record holder in the 800-meter run her senior season.

Personal: Paityn Elizabeth Stagner is the daughter of Robert and Jennifer Howat... Married Gage Stagner in June 2019... Was born Aug. 27 in St. Joseph, Mo... Has two sisters, Ali and Gabby... Majoring in elementary education at MSU.
