
T&F Bears Close Season on NCAA Stage

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Missouri State track and field closed its outdoor season this weekend as Olivia Rogers, Ella Cronhardt and Shiloh Cross represented the Bears at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West First Round at John McDonnell Field.

The three NCAA qualifiers marked Missouri State's strongest postseason representation since 2021, with the Bears competing across three different event areas at the regional meet.

Cronhardt led the Bears' final day of competition, finishing 18th overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:23.35. The junior distance runner entered the meet ranked 40th in the West Region and climbed 22 spots in the final standings, finishing just six places outside of advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Cronhardt competed in the second heat of the quarterfinal round, placing seventh in her section.

Cross also competed Saturday, closing her freshman season in the triple jump. The freshman posted a mark of 12.61 meters on her third attempt, finishing 41st overall in her first NCAA postseason appearance. Cross opened the competition with a jump of 12.45 meters before recording her best mark of the day in the final round.

Rogers opened postseason competition for Missouri State Thursday evening in the 100-meter dash. The junior sprinter posted a time of 11.71, finishing 42nd overall in the event. Rogers competed in the second heat of the first round and placed eighth in her section.
