INDIANAPOLIS - Missouri State track and field will send Olivia Rogers, Ella Cronhardt and Shiloh Cross to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West First Rounds, the NCAA announced Thursday.
The West First Rounds will be held May 27-30 at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark. The top 12 competitors from each individual event at each First Round site will advance to the Championships, set for June 10-13 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Rogers qualified in the 100-meter dash with a seed time of 11.39, ranking No. 39 in the West Region. Cronhardt earned her second straight NCAA berth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, entering the field at No. 40 with a time of 10:20.98. Cross rounded out Missouri State's qualifiers in the triple jump, ranking No. 47 with a mark of 12.77 meters.
Rogers put together one of the strongest sprint seasons of her career, building toward her best performance at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships. After running 11.55 in the 100 meters and 23.86 in the 200 meters at the SBU Bearcat Invitational, Rogers continued to lower her times throughout the spring. She ran 11.50 at the SMU Invitational before saving her fastest race for the CUSA Outdoor Championships, where she placed third in the 100-meter final with a personal-best 11.39.
Cronhardt continued to add to her place among Missouri State's top distance runners. A 2025 NCAA qualifier in the steeplechase, Cronhardt finished 45th overall last season with a time of 10:57.09. This spring, she posted her top mark at the John McDonnell Invitational, winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:20.98. The time moved her to No. 2 all-time in program history. She also broke the Missouri State school record in the 1,500-meter run during the outdoor season.
Cross made an immediate impact in her freshman outdoor season. She opened the spring with a triple jump victory at the SBU Bearcat Invitational, added another win at the Mo State Invitational and continued to build late in the season with a 12.31-meter mark at the SMU Invitational. Cross delivered her best jump at the
CUSA Outdoor Championships, placing third with a personal-best leap of 12.77 meters to secure her first NCAA First Rounds appearance.
Rogers and Cross will make their NCAA postseason debuts, while Cronhardt returns to the regional stage for the second consecutive season.
