2022-23 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not appear for the Bears during their indoor season. 

Outdoor: Made 10 appearances over six meets during the outdoor season... Used her leadership to help head up MSU’s large distance squad... Competed in array of events during the outdoor season including the 1,500-meter, 3,000-meter, 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter runs... Set a lifetime best in the 10,000-meter run at the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational where she raced a time of 36:35.99 beating her former top time of 36:46.03... Raced season-bests in the 1,500-meter (4:57.10) and the 5,000-meter (10:28.28) at the John McDonnell Invitational on April 20-21.  

2021-22 Track and Field 
Indoor: Competed in five meets for the Bears... Was a mainstay for MSU in the 3,000-meter run, leading the team in every meet... Recorded a season-best time in the one-mile run at the Jayhawk Classic (5:19.09), just shy of her lifetime best... Earned a lifetime best in the 3,000-meter run at the Arkansas Qualifier racing to a mark of 10:17.25... Recorded a first-place finish in the 3,000-meter at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational. 

Outdoor: Appeared in every meet during the outdoor season as a veteran leader of the Bears’ squad... Earned a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter in the first meet of the season... Earned a lifetime best 3,000m time of 9:58.17 at the Arkansas Twilight... Ran lifetime bests in the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs at the MVC Championships... Narrowly missed the podium at the championships in the 10-000-meter finishing fourth with a time of 36:46.03. 

2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Placed fifth in the 3,000-meter run at the UCM Classic (Feb. 19)… Ran a season-high pace (10:52.51) in the 3k at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13) where she finished ninth... Posted a time of 5:24.25 and finished 18th in the mile at the Gorilla Classic.
 
Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Finished 10th in the 10,000-meter run and 13th in the 5,000-meter race at the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16)… Won an individual title in the 5k at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3)… Placed third in the 5k at the Mule Relays (Apr. 16)… Ran a 4:56.93 pace in the 1,500-meter run and finished 12th at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10).

2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in five meets… Set a personal record in the 3,000m with a time of 10:16.90 to earn third at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational… Ran a season-best in the 5,000-meter run (17:47.12) for a fifth-place finish at the Husker Invitational… Finished 12th in the 5,000m at the MVC Indoor Championship… Recorded her fastest mile time of the season (5:17.87) at the Arkansas Invitational.

Outdoor: Canceled

2018-19 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Posted her fastest 3,000-meter run time of 10:30.97 to place 20th at the Gorilla Classic… Improved her times in the 3,000-meter run in three straight meets with marks of 10:54.70 (John Gartland Invitational), 10:49.85 (Pitt. State Invitational), and 10:30.97 (Gorilla Classic).
 
Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Ran a personal-best 17:40.60 in the 5,000-meter run to finish 17th at the 2019 MVC Outdoor Championship… Posted her season-high 3,000-meter time at the John McDonnell Invitational, crossing the finish line at the 10:30.91 mark… Placed second in the 5,000-meter run at the Mizzou Spring Open… Finished with a time of 5:07.47 in the 1,500-meter run at the Oral Roberts Invite.

2017-18 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears.

Outdoor: Did not compete for the Bears.

High School
Ran four years of both cross country and track at the varsity level for Warrensburg High School... Three-time All-Conference, two-time All-District and two-time All-KC Metro recognition... 2015 conference champion in cross country and in the 3200m in Track.

Personal
Shelby Madison Palmer was born on Sept. 4, 1998 in Kansas City, Mo. ... Daughter of Brett and Angela Palmer ... Has two brothers, Colton and Cooper... Majoring in Biology at MSU.
