2021-22 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears.

Outdoor: Competed in two meets for the Bears during the outdoor season... Finished third in the long jump at the Rock Chalk Classic and first in the triple jump (11.84m)… Jumped to season highs in both events at the MVC Championships... Recorded a distance of 5.78m in the long jump finishing fourth in the event... Jumped to a second-place finish in the triple jump (12.65m)… Qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional in the triple jump... Finished 32nd with a distance of 12.48m. 

2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in two meets… Claimed the triple jump title at the MVC Indoor Championship (Feb. 26-28) with a distance of 12.18 meters… Finished seventh in the long jump with a season-best 5.49-meter mark at the MVC Indoor Championship… Marked a 5.35-meter jump and took eighth in the long jump at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13).
 
Outdoor: Competed in four meets… Tallied nine points at the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16) with a fourth-place finish in the long jump and placing fifth in the triple jump… Overall, finished in the top-5 of every event she competed in during her outdoor campaign… Took second in the triple jump and third in the long jump at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10).

2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in five meets… Earned All-Conference honors for the third straight season with a second-place mark of 12.33 meters in the triple jump at the MVC Indoor Championship… Recorded her season-best mark in the long jump (5.77m) to place fifth at the Valley meet… Captured an event title in the triple jump at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational… Finished fourth in the triple jump at the Gorilla Classic.

2018-19 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in five meets… Earned All-Conference honors after winning the triple jump title and placing second in the long jump at the 2019 MVC Indoor Championships… Placed first in the triple jump at both the John Gartland Invitational and the Gorilla Classic with jumps of 12.51m and 12.66m, respectively… Recorded three top-5 finishes in the long jump during the indoor regular-season at the Pitt. State Invitational, Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, and Gorilla Classic.
 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Won the triple jump at the 2019 MVC Outdoor Championships with a 12.39m mark… Jumped 5.92m to set an outdoor personal record in the long jump in a second-place showing at the Tom Botts Invitational… Recorded her season-best triple jump distance of 12.46m at both the Mizzou Spring Open and the John McDonnell Invitational.

2017-18 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in seven meets… Season best 60-meter dash Bob Timmons Challenge, running a 8.08 race… 200-meter dash season best at the Bob Timmons Challenge, running a 27.73 time… Earns MVC Freshman of the Year honors after capping off a 13 point championship weekend with a second place finish in the triple jump with a career best 12.59m leap and a fourth place with another career best 5.97-meter long jump.

Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Qualified for the NCAA West Regional, recorded a season best triple jump of 12.72m, finishing in 26^th place, less than a meter away from qualifying for nationals… Scoring 13 team points at the MVC Outdoor Championship, earning MVC Freshman of the year honors after a fourth place finish in the long jump (J5.81m) and a second place triple jump (12.29m).

High School
Comes to Missouri State from Centennial College where she competed on the Track & Field team… Marked best attempts in the long jump at 5.8 meters and 12.3 in triple jump.

Jamilah Kadeshia James was born March 14, 1997, in Scarborough, Ontario... Daughter of Lourna Stephens and step daughter to Winston Bernard... One sister Janelle and brother Jamal... Studies Criminology at Missouri State.
