2017 Cross Country
Competed in two events for the Bears… Started her season at the Missouri Southern Stampede where she ran a 21:49.92 5K… Came back and ran a 26:40.0 6K at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 13).

2016 Cross Country
Ran in all two events for the Bears… Recorded a 21:31.1 5K mark at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 17) and a 26:22.1 6K time at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 14).

2015 Cross Country
Competed in three meets for the Bears…Opened the season at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic (Sept. 1) placing 39th with a time of 21:51.2…Finished 23rd at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 19) running 21:03.95…Finished her freshman campaign at the Little Rock Invitational (Oct. 17), running a personal best time of 20:18.1.

Background: Participated in cross country for three years at Bishup Kelley and lettered all three years... Was a state qualifier her senior year... Earned honors such as team captain, most valuable senior, and VYPE Magazine Runner to Watch throughout her career in high school.

Personal: Amber Obermaier was born August 4, 1997 in Tulsa, Okla.... Daughter of Ron Obermaier and Deana Darby... Plans to major in exercise science with a minor in anthropology while at MSU.
