Indoor: Competed in six meets… Named MVC Freshman of the Year after scoring 14 points at the MVC Indoor Championship… Earned All-Conference honors after placing second in the 200m and third in the 60m at the Valley meet… Anchored the MSU 4x400-meter relay team that finished second at the Valley meet… Her 24.10 time in the 200m at the Husker Invitational ranks as the program’s third-fastest indoor time… Clocked a season-high time of 7.60 in the 60m at the Pittsburg State Invitational… Finished second in the 60m and third in the 200m at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational… Ran on the MSU 4x400-meter relay team in four of her six meets.

Outdoor: Canceled

Background: Ran track and field all four years for Frederick Douglass High School... Won the state championship in the 100m and 200m in her senior season... Also, earned a third-place finish in the long jump at the state championship as a senior... Was a part of the team that won an indoor state championship in 2018.

Personal: Watkins was born 5/31/01  in Baltimore, Md.... She is the daughter of Andrea Watkins... Has one brother, Mahki, and one sister, Sheliece... Majoring in Exercise and Movement Science
