2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in one meet… Recorded a time of 8.18 in the 60-meter dash and a 27.44 in the 200-meter dash at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13).
Outdoor: Competed in one meet… Finished 22nd in the 100-meter dash with a 12.85 time at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3)… Led off the MSU 4x100-meter relay team that took fourth at the Joey Haines Invitational.
Background: Ran track all four years for Lennard High School in Ruskin, Fla… Broke the school record in the 100m, 200m, and 400m during her time with the Longhorns… Prior to the cancellation of the remainder of the 2020 outdoor season, King won a pair of individual titles in the 100 and 200-meter dash… She was a state qualifier in her sophomore and junior seasons as well.
Personal: King was born on 8/16/02 in Plantation, Fla… Daughter of Renee’ King… Majoring in Animal Science.
