2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Ran the second leg of the MSU 4x400-meter relay that took home the silver medal at the 2020 MVC Indoor Championship… Set a season-best mark in the 200m (25.78) to go along with a personal-record time of 57.39 in the 400m at the Gorilla Classic… Placed sixth in her debut race as a Bear with a 1:38.01 time in the 600m at the Arkansas Invitational… Recorded a seventh-place showing in the 400m at the Pittsburg State Invitational.

Outdoor: Canceled

2018-19 Track and Field (Lindenwood):
Was a member of the Lindenwood Track and Field team... Posted her fastest time of the year in the 400m (59.57) at the Greenville University Meet and in the 800m (2:20.61) at the Mizzou Spring Open.

Background: Ran track and field at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School all four years... Placed second in the 400m and 800m at the state track meet... Broke the school record in the 400m and 800m... As a junior, was a fifth place finisher in the 400m and an eighth place finisher in the 800m at the state track meet... Was a state qualifier in the 400m her sophomore year.

Personal: Buchannan was born 8/9/99 in St. Louis, Mo... Daughter of Lisa and Anthony... Has one brother Anthony, Jr. and two sisters, Jasmine and Jamya... Majoring in Exercise Science.
