Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16)… Posted a season-high time of 18:33.66 in the 5,000-meter run at the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 30-May1)… Earned a runner-up finish in the 5k at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3)… Recorded a 4:50.06 time and placed sixth in the 1,500-meter run at the Mule Relays (Apr. 16)… Ran second leg of the Bears 4x1600-meter relay team that finished fifth at the Drake Relays (Apr. 22-24).
2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Anchored the MSU distance medley relay team that finished third with the program’s fifth-fastest time (11:59.08) at the 2020 MVC Indoor Championship… Earned a fourth-place finish in the mile at the MVC meet… Posted her season-best time in the mile at the Gorilla Classic by running a 5:02.39 to finish ninth in the event… Placed second as part of a 1-2-3 finish for the Bears in the 3,000m at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational… Earned MVC Scholar-Athlete honors.

2018-19 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Earned a sixth-place finish (5:02.82) in the one mile run and a seventh-place finish in the 3,000-meter run (10:05.16 PR) at the 2019 MVC Indoor Championships… Recorded a personal best in the one mile run with a time of 4:57.23 to finish second at the Pitt. State Invitational… Won the distance medley (12:32.93) at the Missouri Holiday Opener, running the last leg of the relay for the Bears.

Outdoor: Competed in seven meets… Earned All-Conference honors with a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter run (16:40.96) and a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:34.83) at the 2019 MVC Outdoor Championships… Placed first at the Drake Relays in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 10:28.67 which sits as the fourth best in program history... Won the 5,000-meter run at both the Oral Roberts Invite (17:46.68) and at the Tom Botts Invitational (17:22.23)… Matching her career best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Breiten paced out a 10:28.67 41st place finish at the 2019 NCAA West Regional.
2017-18 Season
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Ran a 3,000-meter career best at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a 10:25.57 race… Finished in fifth place in the Distance Medley Relay at the MVC Championship running the closing leg of a 12:17.41 time.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Ran a career best 5,000-meter at the Bulldog Relays, marking a 17:56.27 time… Finished at the Tom Botts Invitational with a 4:38.45 1,500-meter career best time… While at the MVC Outdoor Championship she finished in fourth place with a 10:53.56 3,000-meter Steeplechase time.
2016-17 Season
Indoor: Competed in four meets… Opened the season with a ninth-place finish in the mile run (5:26.29) at the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20)… Captured her first win of her track career with a time of 5:23.31 in the mile run at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan. 27), and finished second in the distance medley relay (12:40.10)… Took seventh in the mile run at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10) with a time of 5:16.25 and competed in the distance medley relay (12:11.80)… At the MVC Indoor Championship (Feb. 25), advanced in the mile run (10
th, 5:08.90) to the event finals where she finished 10
th with a time of 5:11.71

th in the 1,500-meter run (4:50.75) and second in the 4x800-meter relay (9:20.03)… Posted a time of 10:17.69 in the 3,000-meter run at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (Mar. 25)… At the 90
th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (Mar. 30), was a member of the 4x800-meter relay team that finished seventh with a time of 9:07.94 and capturing a new Missouri State program record… Finished 15
th in the 800-meter run (2:19.77) and seventh in the 1,500-meter run (4:43.06) at the Tom Botts Invitational (Apr. 14)… Took sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:03.22 at the John Jacobs (Apr. 21) and posted a time of 4:05.51 in the 1,500-meter run… Crossed the finish line with a time of 4:55.58 in the 1,500-meter run at the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 28)… At the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14), finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:30.70.
Background:Â Participated in cross country, track and soccer at Lafayette High... Helped guide the Lancers to conference, district, sectional and state championships her senior year... Ran the 800-meter run and 1600-meter run for the Lancers during her senior track season.
Personal:Â Grace Breiten was born 12/18/98 in Dover, Del.... Daughter of Thomas and Mary Breiten... Has two sisters, Cassie and Gabby... Majoring in Special Education... Aspires to teach at an inner-city school upon graduation.
