2021-22 Track and Field
Indoor: Appeared in one meet for the Bears during the indoor season... Competed in the one-mile run and the 3,000-meter at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational (Jan. 21)… Earned a 4th place finish in the 3,000-meter finishing 3rd on the team (11:10.31)… Recorded a time of 5:40.84 in the one-mile. 

Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor season. 

2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Made her collegiate debut at the Washburn Open (Jan. 29) where she finished 14th in the 3,000-meter run… Recorded a season-high time of 11:01.53 in the 3k at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13)… Finished seventh in the 3k and eighth in the mile (5:41.71) at the UCM Classic (Feb. 19).
 
Outdoor: Competed in three meets… Finished ninth in the 5,000-meter run with a season-best time of 18:40.17 at the Mule Relays (Apr. 16) … Ran a 5:06.90 in the 1,500-meter run at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10)… Took 20th in the 5k at the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 30-May 1).

High School
Competed all four years for the track and field and cross country teams at Staley High School… Earned All-State and All-Metro cross country honors three straight years… Set the school’s 5K, 2 mile, and 4x800 records during her time with the Falcons... Played four years for the Staley High lacrosse team.

Personal
Alex Hamre was born on Jan. 14, 2002, in Kansas City, Mo… Daughter of Shawn and Stacey Hamre… Has one sister, Lauren… Her dad, Shawn, played football for Missouri Western under head coach Stan McGarvey… Majoring in Nursing.
