All-MVC: 2021 (Outdoor)

2021-22 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in one meet for the Bears during the indoor season... Earned a 12th place finish (9.00) in the 60-meter hurdles at the Gorilla Classic... Also competed in long jump at the Gorilla Classic and recorded a distance of 5.48 meters.

Outdoor: Did not compete for the Bears. 

2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in three meets… Placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles and 10th in the long jump at the MVC Indoor Championship (Feb. 26-28)… Clocked her fastest 60H time of the season (8.97) in the prelims at the MVC Indoor Championship… Took fourth in the long jump at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13) with a personal-best mark of 5.63 meters… Finished seventh in the 60H at the Gorilla Classic.
 
Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Earned all-conference honors with a third-place performance in the long jump to go along with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles at the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16)... Ran a personal-best 14.17 in the 100H prelims at the MVC Outdoor Championship… Placed third in the long jump at the Drake Relays (Apr. 22-24) after she recorded a personal-best mark of 5.92 meters… Won her first collegiate event with a 14.24 time in the 100H and added a runner-up finish in the long jump at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10).

2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in five meets… Made her MSU debut at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational where she finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles and ninth in the long jump… Scored points at the MVC Indoor Championship with a seventh-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles… Posted her season-best marks at the conference meet with her 8.96 time in the 60-meter hurdles and leaps of 5.41 and 11.14 meters in the long jump and triple jump, respectively.

Outdoor: Canceled

Background: Ran track and field for Liberty North High School...Placed seventh in the 100m hurdles, eighth in the long jump, and ninth in the triple jump at the MSHSAA Class 5 State Championships as a senior.

Personal: Emerson was born 6/23/01 in Hannibal, Mo... Daughter of Carl and April Emerson... Has four brothers (Carl, Jerry, Cortez, and Mason) and four sisters (Kylee, Tamia, Naomi, and Abigail)... Majoring in Exercise & Movement Science.
