Indoor: Competed in seven meets… Placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2019 MVC Indoor Championships, running a career best 8.66… Recorded a pair of season-best marks at the Arkansas Invitational with an 8.09 (21st) in the 60-meter dash and a 26.47 (19th) in the 200-meter dash… Earned a third-place finish at the Arkansas Invitational in the 60-meter hurdles.
 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Finished third in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2019 MVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 13.99… Ran a personal best 12.58 time to place 12th in the 100-meter dash at the Oral Roberts Invite… Won the 100-meter hurdles with a career best time of 13.70 at the Tom Botts Invitational.

2017-18 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Opened up the season with a career best 600-yard run at the Bob Timmons Challenge finishing in 15^th place with a 1:33.17 time… Ran a career best at the Gorilla Classic in the 60-meter dash with an 8.00 37^th place finish… Recorded an eighth place personal best 60-meter hurdle 8.74 time at the MVC Indoor Championship.

Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Recorded a 400-meter hurdles personal best at the Memphis Tigers Invitational with a 1:04.02 time… Ran a top 100-meter hurdle race at the MVC Championship.

2016-17 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Opened the indoor season with a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.94 at the Bob Timmons Challenge (Dec. 2)… At the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20), posted 1:01.67 in the 400-meter dash, finishing 15^th, also finished second in the 60-meter hurdles (9.01) after turning in a time of 9.03 to finish third in the 60-meter hurdles prelim race and gained experience in the 4x400 relay with a second-place time of 3:56.62… Posted a time of 26.96 in the 200-meter dash and 8.68 in the 55-meter hurdles at the Arkansas State Invitational (Jan. 26-27)… crossed the finish line at 1:02.80 in the 400-meter dash and turned in a time of 9.22 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Frank Sevigne Husker (Feb. 3-4)… At the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10-11), turned in a seventh-place time of 9.05 in the 60-meter hurdles prelims to advance to a 12^th-place finish (8.82) in the 60-meter hurdles qualifying race… Gained experience at the 2017 MVC Indoor Championship (Feb. 25-26), just missed out on advancing in the 60-meter hurdles prelims race with a 14^th-place time of 8.85 and a time of 26.55 in the 200-meter dash prelims.
 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Opened the outdoor season with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (14.66), a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.41), second in the 400-meter shuttle hurdles relay (59.22) and fifth in the 4x400-meter relay (3:53.72) at the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays (Mar. 17-18)… At the Arkansas Spring Invitational (Mar. 25), turned in 26.31 in the 200-meter dash and a 10^th-place time of 14.77 in the 100-meter hurdles… At the prestigious 90^th Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (Mar. 30-Apr. 1), posted a time of 14.50 in the 100-meter hurdles and 1:04.23 in the 400-meter hurdles… Collected a time of 25.49 in the 200-meter dash, fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.14) and a fourth-place in the 4x400-meter relay (3:56.04) at the Tom Botts Invitational (Apr. 14-15)… At the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 28), posted a time of 26.09 in the 200-meter dash and a fourth-place time of 14.25 in the 100-meter hurdles… At the 2017 MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16), missed on advancing out of the 100-meter prelims with a 12^th-place time of 14.25 and in the 400-meter hurdles with a 13^th-place time of 1:06.81.
 

Background: Sprinter and hurdler for John May at Cowichan Secondary… Broke the British Columbia and Canadian Legion National record in 80m hurdles her freshman year… Set the 4x100 relay British Columbia high school record with teammate Taryn Smiley her junior year…Awarded top female athlete at the Canadian Legion Nationals… Participated in the British Columbia Summer Games earning gold in the 100m hurdles and the 4x100m relay.

Personal: Chicago Paige Bains was born 3/26/98 in Duncan, British Columbia…  Daughter of Kamaljit and Karmen Bains… Has one brother named Chancelor… Studying Fashion Merchandising at Missouri State.
