Biography
At Missouri State: Greg Temple earned All-MVC honors for the third straight year as he claimed two championships and one third-place finish at the 2006 league championship. Temple conquered the gold medal in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, swimming his career-best times in both events. He set an MSU varsity record and MVC record in the 100 breast in 55.55 and ranks second in school history in the 200 breast. Temple was also on the MSU Academic Honor Roll. 2004-05: Temple took first in the 100 breast, second in the 200 breast and fifth in the 200 IM at the 2005 MVC Invitational. He also swam on the 400 medley relay that took first and the 200 medley relay that placed second. 2003-04: Temple was named MVC all-conference first team as a freshman with three top 10 finishes, two of which were in the top five. He took fifth in the 100 breast, third in the 200 breast and seventh in the 200 IM. Background: As a senior, Temple received second place at state in the 200 individual medley and third in the 100 breast, achieving all-American recognition and breaking his own record at West Des Moines Valley High. He helped lead his team to an overall third place finish at the state meet. Personal: Full name is Gregory Michael Temple. Born July 30, 1985, in Des Moines, Iowa. Son of David and Joanna Temple.
