Background: Ertl was a four-year letterman at Rosemount High School. She was all-state three years in a row and was the captain of the Irish her senior year. Personal: Full name is Abby Marie Ertl. Born October 18, 1984, in Farmington, Minnesota. Daughter of James and Diane Ertl. Her brother, Eric, was a Missouri State swimmer from 2001-05.
