At Missouri State: Sarah Gourley competed in freestyle events for the Bears and will continue to improve her times as she heads into her second year. Background: Gourley joined the Bears from Park Hill South High in Kansas City, Mo., where she was a four-year all-conference winner. Gourley won the 200 IM conference championship in her junior and senior years. She was the runner-up in the 100 free her senior year and finished third in the 100 fly her junior year at the conference finals. Gourley was two-time state qualifier in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay and earned all-state honorable mention honors in the 200 medley relay both years.
