At Missouri State: Michelle Heinrichs will again provide depth for the Bears at second base in 2007.

2005: Heinrichs saw action in 13 contests for the Bears as a freshman. She had a .111 batting average with one hit and one RBI in nine plate appearances.

Background: Heinrichs was a four-year starter at South Grand Prairie (Texas) High, primarily at second base. During her senior season, Heinrichs was an all-area honorable-mention selection and helped her team to a 5A district title. She batted .372 with 15 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.

Personal: Michelle Katherine Heinrichs is the daughter of Douglas and Sherre Heinrichs. She was born February 25, 1986, in Arlington, Texas. She is majoring in psychology with a minor in physical education.
