Conference USA Announces Softball Schedule

DALLAS – Conference USA announced the 2027 softball conference slate on Wednesday (Sept. 23). With the 10-team setup this season, the Bears will play a series against all CUSA opponents.

Mo State softball will begin conference action with a trip to face last year's league champion and NCAA Tournament team Jacksonville State (March 12-14). The Bears then return home for back-to-back series against Sam Houston (March 19-21) and Delaware (March 25-27).

For the rest of the conference slate, Missouri State will alternate between road and home series. The Bears go on the road for series at Kennesaw State (April 2-4), Liberty (April 16-18) and New Mexico State (April 30-May 2). Mo State will welcome Western Kentucky (April 9-11), FIU (April 23-25) and Middle Tennessee (May 6-8) to Springfield.

The 2027 Conference USA Championship will be hosted by Jacksonville State from May 12-15.

Missouri State finished the 2026 season with a 22-28 overall record which included a 10-17 mark in league play to finish ninth in the regular season standings in the Bears' first season in CUSA. Mo State returns 14 players from last year's squad while welcoming a group of six newcomers that consists of three transfers and three freshmen.
