Background: Ronnie Franklin was a four-year letterwinner and two-year starter for back-to-back state champion Christian Brothers College H.S. As a senior, Franklin scored six goals on his way to All-Metro Catholic Conference Third Team honors and was an All-metro and All-state honorable mention on a team that ranked fifth nationally. As a junior, Franklin scored eight goals on a team that won the first of its two Class 3 state championships and was also ranked fifth nationally. Franklin played on teams with a combined 98-8-6 record in his four years as a Cadet. He was a member of the National Honor Society and a two-year letterwinner in track at Christian Brothers.
