Biography

Background: Alex Zenor has played solely with his club team and the Iowa Olympic Development Team for the past three years after playing as a freshman at Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. His Cedar Rapids Soccer Association club team has won the past seven state cup championships and advanced to the semifinals of the regional cup and were ranked nationally last season. As a member of the Olympic Development Team, Zenor has traveled and competed in tournaments in Denmark, England, and Scotland. His brother, Adam, played soccer for Drake and was an academic all-American in 2004. Personal: Alexander Michael Zenor is the son of Dan and Deann Zenor. He was born Jan. 21, 1989, in St. Louis, Mo.
