Background: Ben Johnson helped lead Naperville (Ill.) North High to back-to-back DuPage Valley Conference championships and totaled 44 wins during his final two seasons. The midfielder was named all-state, all-sectional, all-conference, all-area, all-city and was the team[apos]s MVP as a senior as he scored seven goals and tallied 19 assists. As a junior, Johnson scored seven goals and added 17 assists as his team was ranked first in the state, fifth in the region, and in the top 25 nationally by the NSCAA. Johnson finished his career with 39 assists to rank second in school history. Johnson also played two years on an Olympic Development Team.
