Biography

At MSU: RaMel McIntosh earned considerable playing time in 2005, his first season at Missouri State after transferring from junior college. He played in all 10 games and carried 22 times for 71 yards and a touchdown, which came against Southern Illinois. His best game came against Quincy, where he rushed six times for 33 yards. McIntosh caught three passes in the Bears' 2006 spring game.

Background: McIntosh transferred to MSU from Glendale Community College (Ariz). At Glendale, he had 1,400 yards rushing and 14 TDs in 2004, and 1,200 yards and 13 TDs in 2003. McIntosh set the school record for longest return with a 99-yard return for a TD and the single-game return yards record in 2002. He was named first-team all-conference, all-WSFL, and was an All-American honorable mention. During his high school career, McIntosh had 1,300 yards and 20 TDs as a senior, earning All-American honorable mention honors. He was also the team captain, and won the MVP and Courage awards.

Personal: His full name is RaMel Tyreese McIntosh. He was born January 21, 1984, in Omaha, Nebraska. RaMel's parents are William and Stacey Hunnicutt. He is majoring in criminology.
