Biography

At MSU: Chris Goode looks to make a big impact in his final season with the departure of a pair of starters on the defensive line from a year ago. He recorded four tackles and a sack in four games in 2005 after playing in 10 games for the Bears two years ago. Goode had nine tackles, including one for a loss, in 2004, with his best game coming against Union, when he notched three tackles. He played in six games in his first season of action in 2003, recording six tackles and one fumble recovery. Goode was recognized as Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year in 2003 by the Bears[apos] coaches. He redshirted three years ago, his first year on campus.

Background: Goode was a first team all-conference and second team all-district pick during his prep career at Kansas City Ruskin. He was a four-year letterman and starter at defensive end and offensive tackle.

Personal: Born on July 23, 1984, in Kansas City, Missouri, his full name is Christopher Edward Goode. He is the son of Phil Goode and Janice Smith. He is majoring in business management at MSU.
