2011: Made 11 relief appearances and started one game in his first season with the Bears, going 1-0 with a 5.20 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 27.2 innings...Opened season with 10 scoreless innings and did not allow and earned run until his fourth appearance...Struck out seven in 5.2 innings of shutout relief at Arkansas State (March 9)...Fanned six in 4.1 innings in his only start, March 15 against SEMO...Fired 3.2 innings of two-hit relief for a win at Missouri (April 27)...Pitched for the Northwoods League[apos]s Waterloo Bucks in the summer, appearing in 13 game with 12 starts and going 3-4 with a 3.79 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 76.0 innings.
