This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State swimming and diving's Delaney Nickels. Missouri State celebrated its senior class in front of a packed house at Hammons Student Center Pool Saturday by splitting with crosstown rival Drury in the home finale. The women won over the Panthers 86-81. The entire meet came down to the 1-meter diving competition to decide the outcome, and freshman Delaney Nickles edged Drury for the top spot by a score of 264.75-264.53 to secure the Bears' win. Coach Dave Collins says she nailed some big dives down the stretch to secure the victory.
