Malik Earl hauled in a career-high 11 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns—all in the first three quarters of play--to help propel the Bears to a 45-24 decision over No. 24 Indiana State for their largest-ever road victory over a ranked foe. The junior put the Bears on top with TD receptions on two different occasions, including a 69-yard score in the second quarter and a nine-yard catch in the third that put MSU in front for good. Earl’s 11-catch performance equaled Jason Cannon and Clay Harbor for the second-best single-game reception total in program history.
